CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Mecka Conference announced its all-conference selections Friday, and the list was headlined by two already well-known players. Luke Maye and C.J. Bryce were named Co-Players of the Year while first year Jay M. Robinson coach Lavar Batts, Sr. was named Coach of the Year.

On the girls’ side, Jay M. Robinson senior Kelsi Mahoney was named Player of the Year. Mahoney will attend George Washington University next year to continue her career. Mallard Creek head coach C.J. Kendall was named Coach of the Year following the Lady Mavericks’ 18-8 season.
