What’s up world, it’s your boy Leek and I know it’s been a while, but I’m baaaack!
By now I know y’all know that your boy committed to Mississippi State and I’ve gotta tell you it feels good, man!
Just to be able to walk around and not have to answer a bunch of different questions about where I’m going and stuff like that. It’s another chapter of my life that I’m ready to take on!
It was crazy that night before; I promise y’all I didn’t get any sleep that night.
I just looked at everything and thought about it for a long time and then I prayed about it.
I ended up deciding that night and that next morning it felt great to be a Bulldog!
I knew that picking Mississippi State over the other schools would shock a lot of people, but I didn’t know they’d be THAT shocked.
I got a lot of crazy reactions from people and tweets from fans with all the bad language in them saying they hate me and stuff like that, but my Twitter followers didn’t drop off.
All my Bulldogs fans picked it up for me, so it was all love!
Everyone knows that my dad played at Mississippi State back in the day and it’s cool to me to be able to play at the same school. I won’t be wearing his number or anything like that because I’m my own person and my own man. I want to create my own legacy there. He just drew out the blueprint for me playing there!
I talked to all my boys that were recruiting me to come to their schools and they were happy for me, but they all still said they wanted me to pick their school. They weren’t trippin’!
I’m gonna go ahead and tell y’all to watch out for those Bulldogs next year! We’re gonna have a lot of talent and I truly believe that we’re a team that can get to the tournament. All of us are gonna put in that work and I know we’ve got the coaching and talent already there. After that, who knows! Anything can happen in the tournament.
School is winding down now and it’s crazy that I’m gonna be done with high school; that’s crazy to even think about.
Like I said, it’s just time to start that new chapter in my life so I’m excited about that.
I’m gonna go ahead and tell y’all you need to definitely watch out for my young boys coming up Mario Kegler and Dacardo Day. Those two I’ve really taken under my wing and they’re gonna be doing big things!
OK, y’all once again it’s your boy Leek and I appreciate you for reading my blog; you know I always give y’all that good info!
I’ll be back soon with another blog so be on the lookout!
