Manitowoc Lincoln’s Alyssa DeZeeuw tied for first in a pair of events to help the Ships gymnastics team place second at Saturday’s Whitefish Bay Invite.
Lincoln, which finished with a team score of 124.3, was led by DeZeeuw who tied for first on both floor (8.875) and bars (9.05). DeZeeuw also paced Lincoln in the all-around (second, 35.075) and beam (third, 8.7).
Also for the Ships, Sloan Tackett was fifth on vault (8.55).
The Valders/Roncalli co-op also took part, taking fifth (122.3). Leading the co-op was Hailey Szalewski, who was tied for sixth in the all-around (32.45) while also pacing her squad on beam (tied-fifth, 8.2), vault (11th, 8.225) and bars (12th, 7.575).
Kelly Jacoby led Valders/Roncalli on floor (fifth, 8.475).
