Marble Falls police cancels news conference on Texas players who attacked official

By

The Marble Falls Police Department in Texas has canceled a news conference scheduled for Thursday to discuss the two John Jay football players who attacked a game official last Friday.

The game occurred at Marble Falls so the incident is within the jurisdiction of the police department there.

In a brief statement, the police said it continues “diligently working on the case.”

“We are cancelling the press conference scheduled for 10 am on Thursday, September 10th seeing as though there is currently nothing new to report from our end, other than we are continuing our investigation.”

Whether the players are charged will be determined by the Burnet County prosecutor’s office.
