Even though injuries robbed him of most of his last two seasons of high school, Mason Schroyer will play college football.
The Fort Collins High School running back has committed to the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota following an official visit this weekend.
As a senior Schroyer rushed for 1,033 yards in just six games, averaging 7.7 yards per carry as the Lambkins went 11-1 with a loss in the quarterfinals. Schroyer had 467 yards in the first two games of the season before missing about a month with a hip injury. He also missed most of his junior season with an injury.
Sioux Falls went 11-1 in 2014 and finished ranked 18th in the final Division II coaches poll.
