Richmond went into Adrian with something to prove, and they made quite the statement by winning two games with football-esque scores.

The Blue Devils hitting attack was in full force by scoring a combined 24 runs, including a 6-for-6 hitting performance by Evan Kratt.

Richmond took the first game with a convincing 10-4 win against Monroe.

Kevin Maas gave Richmond five strong innings on the mound, giving up just three hits.

The Blue Devils weren’t done throwing up massive numbers, as they walloped Adrian in a 14-5 win for their encore performance.

Andrew Reed and Dan Fistler combined on the mound for the win.

Kratt went 4-for-4 with three RBI, Fistler had two hits with four RBI and Jake Schmidt had two hits with three RBI.

Richmond is now 20-5-1 overall.

St. Clair wins Marauder Tournament

By going 3-0 on the day, the Saints took home the Marauder Tournament.

Ian Janssen showed up big today, tossing a two-hitter in the 2-1 championship win over Warren Mott.

The first game didn’t hold much drama as the Saints won 13-3 against Sterling Heights. Game two was slightly closer with a 14-5 win over Warren Woods-Tower.

Janssen also went 5-for-8 on the day, and Gehrig Anglin hit 6-for-9 in the day of winning.
