Madison Riggle pitched a three-hitter for Maysville in a 5-0 win over Columbus DeSales, as the Panthers split two games Saturday at Licking Valley.

The Panthers (10-2) carried a 7-5 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning in Game 1 against Upper Arlington but lost 8-7 on a three-run homer by the Golden Bears

Against DeSales, Riggle had seven strikeouts and no walks in a complete game, while Taylor Balderson and Megan Frank each had two hits and an RBI and Madeline Foster had a double and two RBIs.

Against Upper Arlington, Riggle hit a two-run homer in the first, Sydney Shreve had a double, two hits and two RBIs and Hallie Bennett had two hits and two RBIs.

Foster pitched seven innings for the loss, with four strikeouts.
