Good luck finding anyone who won’t be glued to the TV on  Saturday night watching Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao duke it out at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.

The million dollar question: Who’s going to win?

We caught up with a handful of elite high school athletes and had them dish on who they think will emerge victorious then had them give their pick on who would be ranked No. 1 if there were high school boxing rankings.

Yeah, we took it there.

Isaiah Briscoe, Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.), PG, 2015

College: Kentucky

And the winner is… “Floyd’s gonna win the fight of course!”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Me! Hands down I’d be No. 1 if we had high school boxing for the 2015 basketball players.”

Harry Giles III, Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.), F, 2016

College: Undecided

And the winner is… “Money! All day!”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “I’m gonna say me; I might dice somebody up!”

Michael Porter Jr., Father Tolton (Columbia, Mo.), SF, 2017

College: Undecided

And the winner is“I go back and forth with this, but my final answer is Floyd Mayweather.”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Wow! I’m gonna say Udoka Azubuike from the Georgia Stars. We played against him. He’s so big and strong. It doesn’t really matter what you do. You’re not gonna move him. I think that would carry over in the ring.”

Elijah Thomas, Lancaster (Lancaster, Texas), F, 2015

College: Texas A&M

And the winner is… “Mayweather! No question. That’s a guaranteed win, come on now!”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Oh, that would definitely be me! I used to slap-box a lot at a young age and I am pretty nice. I definitely know that I’d be in that No. 1 spot, no question. Easy.”

Miles Bridges, Huntington Prep (Huntington, W.Va.), SF, 2016

College: Undecided

And the winner is… “Mayweather.”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “I’m just gonna say me!”

Troy Brown Jr., Centennial (Las Vegas), PG, 2017

College: Undecided

And the winner is… “Mayweather’s got this one.”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Ooh, that’s tough man. I’ve gotta think about this one… Man! That’s a great question; I would love to see us get high school boxing by the way. OK, who would be No. 1… Man, I’m gonna say Dennis Smith. That guy’s quick! I think he might be on top if we had that.”

Isaiah Briscoe said he'd be the No. 1 boxer in the country if we had HS boxing.

CeCe Jefferson, Baker County (Glen Saint Mary, Fla.), DE, 2015

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Me! I would be No. 1 because I’m powerful like Tyson, smooth like Ali and fast like Floyd!”

Jalen Johnson, Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, N.C.), SF, 2016

And the winner is… “Mayweather, but I think Pacquiao has a real shot.”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Osinachi Smart, my AAU teammate. That guy has the biggest hands I’ve ever seen in my life and he’s 6-foot-8 and strong. He said he’s never been in a fight, but if he got in the ring, he’d lay a few people out.”

Noah Dickerson, Montverde (Montverde, Fla.), F, 2015

College: Florida

And the winner is… “I want Pacquiao to win, but I know Mayweather’s gonna win.”

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Ifeanyi Umezurike, my teammate at Montverde. That guy is strong!”

Nate Craig-Myers, Tampa Catholic (Tampa, Fla.), WR, 2015

If we had high school boxing, the No. 1 boxer in the country would be… “Probably Elijah Holyfield because of his dad (Evander Holyfield). That’s who would be training him!”
