Columbia, SC (WLTX) – WJ Keenan High School Head Football Coach Quin McCollum will not be back next season.
News19 learned Wednesday that McCollum will not return to the Raiders. However, Keenan AD Dameon Franking told News19 Sports Director Reggie Anderson that the school is “trying to work things out” with McCollum.
Last season, McCollum led the team to its first-ever state championship game appearance, where it lost to Timberland.
McCollum is a native of Marlboro County, and has worked for several school districts around the state in his career, including Richland Two at Spring Valley High. He also worked as a special education teacher at Keenan.
