Mustangs will face Trinity on Friday in Hopkinsville

The McCracken County High School baseball team kept the No. 1 spot in the Kentucky High School Baseball Coaches Association’s Top 20 released Wednesday.

The Mustangs are 21-2 and next will face No. 19 Trinity on Friday at Hopkinsville. McCracken County’s only two losses came to Bartlett (Tenn.) – 4-1 on April 16 and 10-2 on April 18.

St. Xavier kept the No. 2 spot. No. 8 Pleasure Ridge Park is the other squad from Louisville in the top 10.

Others receiving votes: Beechwood, Highlands, West Jessamine, Hopkinsville, Scott County, Tates Creek.
