Hough’s Trent Joiner was named to the 2015 All-Mecka baseball team.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Mecka 4A Conference announced its 2014-15 spring sports all-conference teams on Tuesday. Six of the eight schools were represented on the roster, with Hough taking two of the three major honors.
Hough’s Drew Ober was named overall Mecka Player of the Year. Huskies head coach Jimmy Cochran was named Coach of the Year. Hopewell ace Tristan Baker was recognized as the Pitcher of the Year. The senior is signed to play his college ball at Western Carolina.
