The Mountain Home freshman baseball team picked up a pair of victories over Cave City on Thursday night at Cooper Park.

The Frosh Bombers edged out the Cavemen 9-8 in the first game, with Gage McClain earning the win on the mound. McClain struck out three over three innings, while Seth Horn and Riley Peters each tossed one inning.

Horn had three singles, Peters and McClain notched two hits each, and Austin Sinor and Drake Patrick each had a double.

The Mountain Home freshmen blanked the Cavemen 8-0 in the second game with Blake Bogy going all five innings on the mound. McClain had a triple and a single to lead the Frosh Bombers.
