Miami DE was NOT impressed by Parker Boudreaux's truck pull commitment stunt

Rising senior prospect Parker Boudreaux drew attention from across the nation when he committed to Notre Dame by pulling a 1,600-pound bus to reveal his college choice. Apparently not all of that attention was positive.

Among others who were less specific, current Miami defensive end Scott Patchan was not amused by Boudreaux’s method of revealing his future college location, and he took to Twitter to let Boudreaux know precisely how he felt.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Patchan relatively quickly deleted his tweet, but not before it was captured for posterity by the likes of College Spun and others. That means you can be sure you’ll hear about it again during the week-long lead up to the October 29, 2016 matchup between Miami and Notre Dame in South Bend. Of course, we may very well hear about it again long before then depending on how Boudreaux and Patchan develop on the field.

Based on Patchan’s rather visceral reaction and Boudreaux’s self-confidence, this might even be a face-off that inspires the best out of both players. Now we just have to wait more than a year to find out what happens next.
