Miami (Fla.) legacy Al Blades Jr. becomes second player to de-commit after Al Golden's firing

Al Blades Jr. is now the second University of Miami (Fla.) football player to de-commit after the firing of head coach Al Golden.

Blades Jr., whose late father Al Blades was a standout safety at The U,  took to twitter to announce he would be reopening his recruitment.

Unlike Blades, however, four-star wide receiver Sam Bruce went to Twitter to solidify his commitment to Miami.

Bruce, who recently told USA TODAY High School Sports that he was “60-65 percent committed to Miami,” continued on Twitter, referencing (we assume) wide receivers coach Kevin Beard, who recruited Bruce.
