Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook 35, St. Clair Shores South Lake 14: Aaron Wiggins had 13 carries for 170 yards and three touchdowns to carry the load for Cranbrook (9-1), and Tyler Santangelo went 18-of-40 for 166 passing yards and one touchdown. Tyler Maize rushed 22 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns, and was the lone bright spot for South Lake (8-2) in its first-round loss.

Dearborn Height Robichaud 50, Brooklyn Columbia Central 37: Jaris Cisson put on quite the performance in the opening round of the Division 5 playoffs, going 12-for-19 for 300 yards and five touchdowns in the victory for Robichaud (8-2). Traivon Clayton caught four passes for 120 yards and two touchdowns to seal the win over Central (8-2).
Detroit University Prep 46, Detroit Central 6: Tyree Smith had 310 all-purpose yards, with six total touchdowns including an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown for University Prep (7-3). Craig Smith made eight solo tackles. Central finished 6-4.
Detroit Denby 36, Detroit Collegiate Prep-Northwestern 6: Dante Calhoun rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns in the pre-district round victory for Denby. Cornelius Stevenson added 74 yards and one TD on the ground.
Grosse Pointe South 41, Sterling Heights 7: Logan Mico led South (7-3) in its victory over Sterling Heights (7-3) with 154 passing yards and three touchdowns. Sam Genna had 11 carries, 114 yards and one touchdown, and Andrew Troust had two receptions for 54 yards and two scores. Will Poplawski led the defense with nine tackles, including two for a loss. Jacob Syccone had a one-yard rushing touchdown for Sterling Heights in its lone score of the game.
Johannesburg-Lewiston 35, Hillman 8: Logan Huff rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries in the opening round of the playoffs for Johannesburg. Nick May added 13 carries, 84 yards and one touchdown to seal the victory.
Novi 31, West Bloomfield 28: Quarterback Alec Bagerias was 20-for-34 for 214 yards and two touchdowns through the air in the upset victory for Novi (6-4). Emmanuel Jackson ran for 181 yards and two touchdowns while catching nine passes for 75 yards and one TD. In the loss, Garrett Wynn had 10 catches for 141 yards and a TD, while QB Trishton Jackson was 19-of-31 passing for 216 yards with two TDs.
Orchard Lake St. Mary’s 49, Bay City John Glenn 7: Ryan Johnson had five carries for 95 yards and two touchdowns for St. Mary’s (8-1). RaShawn Allen had eight carries for 95 yards and one TD, while Justin Myrick added eight carries for 91 yards and two TDs.

Plymouth Canton 70, Livonia Stevenson 35: Chris Tanderys was 24-for-49 passing for 409 yards and four TDs, and had three carries for 32 yards in the loss for Stevenson (6-4). Frank Carlin tallied 10 carries for 64 yards and 14 receptions for 268 yards, and Gino D’Agostino caught five passes for 123 yards and two TDs.

Redford Thurston 48, Warren Fitzgerald 14: In the loss for Fitzgerald (6-4), Najon Moore had 17 carries for 84 yards and a TD. Quarterback Stephen Gregerson was 12-for-20 passing for 145 yards while adding one TD via the ground in the loss.
