Former Erwin quarterback Robbie Nallenweg brought his own blizzard to Green Bay on Sunday.
Nallenweg completed 20 of his 35 passes for 256 yards and seven touchdowns with two interceptions in a 47-46 road loss to the Green Bay Blizzard.
Nallenweg now leads the IFL in passing yardage (610) after three games for Iowa (1-2). The Barnstormers’ next game is Friday at the Nebraska Danger.
Nallenweg graduated from Erwin in 2009. He has previously played indoor football in the Champions Profession Indoor Football League and the Lone Star Football League.
Back in high school, Nallenweg threw for a Western North Carolina-best 2,713 yards as a senior in 2008. He then passed for more than 5,000 career yards in college at Wingate.
