Malik Moore’s basketball career at Erwin may be over.
But that hasn’t stopped the senior from picking up more scholarship offers.
Winston-Salem State is the latest college to jump into the fray for Moore. The Rams tendered their offer to the 6-foot-5 wing this past weekend.
Moore has received at least five other offers in the last 12 months – Appalachian State, The Citadel, Radford, Tennessee Tech and Western Kentucky.
Moore is one of the all-time leading scorers in Erwin history (1,397 points) and was the 2014 Citizen-Times All-WNC Player of the Year.
He earned All-Mountain Athletic Conference honors this past season after averaging 18.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists a game for the Warriors (19-8).
Moore was a Blue-White All-Star selection.
