Newark junior B.J. Duling shoots a 3-pointer during this past Friday’s game against Dayton Dunbar.
Junior transfer B.J. Duling will replace some of the production lost from graduating five senior starters, who led Newark to a Division I district title. Duling is strong in the post but also can step out. Classmate Kobe Long-Weber provided long-range shooting off the bench and is looking to display an expanded offensive game.
Junior Hunter Dennison and senior Evan Thomas will share the ball-handling duties, and junior Justin Carter and freshman KeShawn Heard will take the heat off Duling in the post.
