Undefeated Duncanville, Texas moved into the No. 2 spot in the Super 25 girls basketball rankings. The Panthers are 13-0, including a 75-49 defeat of then-No. 13 North Shore (Houston) in the championship of the Texas Invitational as Ciera Johnson had 23 points.

Two other new teams with high rankings are No. 9 Ribault (Jacksonville) and No. 13 National Christian Academy (Fort Washington, Md.). Ribault is 7-0 and the Trojans’ closest win was a 74-54 defeat of then-No. 2 Miami Country Day (Miami) as Rennia Davis had 26 points and 10 rebounds. NCA is 3-0 after going 2-0 at the Turkey Jamm in Murfreesboro, Tenn., including a 58-52 defeat of then-No. 3 Blackman (Murfreesboro, Tenn.). The Eagles’ E’Lexus Davis was named to the all-tournament team.

The other four new teams: No. 16 Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Md.); No. 20 Providence Day (Charlotte); No. 21 Columbus North, Columbus, Ind; and No. 24 Montini Catholic (Lombard, Ill.).
