Moeller senior tight end Jake Hausmann has accepted an invitation to play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Hausmann, an Ohio State verbal commit, is the third area football player in the 2016 class to commit to the game.

The game is 1 p.m. EST Jan. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. It will be nationally-televised live on NBC.

He will join Elder offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer (Notre Dame commit) and La Salle punter Drue Chrisman (Ohio State) in the game.

The U.S. Army All-American Bowl jersey ceremony for Hausmann is scheduled for Dec. 1.

Hausmann, who is 6 feet 5 and 240 pounds, was the Greater Catholic League South division tight end of the year this season.

He had 50 receptions for 714 yards (14.3 ypc.) and 11 touchdowns.
