Olathe East in Kansas moved into the Top 10 and Hinsdale Central in Illinois made the most substantial moves in this week’s USA TODAY High School Sports/National Soccer Coaches Association of America Super 25 boys soccer rankings.
Olathe East is ranked No. 6 this week after sitting at No. 12 last week. The Hawks are 13-0 and barreling toward the postseason with three more regular-season games remaining before regionals. It seems like it’s been weeks since the defending state 6A champions have even given up a goal.

Hinsdale Central moved up from No. 22 to No. 11 this week and is 14-1-1. The Red Devils have been bolstered this season by the return of Rigoberto Rojas and Louis St. John, who both played club soccer the past two seasons before returning to their high school team.
The top-ranked newcomer is Mason (Ohio) at No. 12. Three other teams broke into the Super 25: No. 19 Normal University High (Normal, Ill.), No. 24 Lewiston (Maine) and No. 25 St. Louis University High, which has previously been in the rankings.
St. Benedict’s Prep of Newark, N.J., remains No. 1, followed by St. Ignatius (Cleveland) and Wesleyan Christian (High Point, N.C.). Aviation (Long Island City, N.Y.) and Napa (Calif.) each moved up a spot to Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. No. 4 Notre Dame High (Peoria, Ill.) dropped after a 4-1 loss to Rockford (Ill.) Boylan.
