Pike guard Alyssa Clay committed to Akron on Tuesday.
Clay, a 5-8 senior-to-be, averaged 11.4 points and 3.3 rebounds as a junior at Pike. She was named honorable mention all-state by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
Clay was second on Pike’s team in scoring last season behind Butler recruit Brittany Ward. Pike was 20-8 last season and advanced to a Class 4A regional final where it lost to Lawrence North.

The 6-2 Kmec averaged 12.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals as a junior for the Greyhounds. She was named honorable mention all-state last season.
