KUSA – It’s a block Zacc Winn will never forget – his 50th; his goal.  “My very last one in the state tournament put me at exactly fifty,” Winn said.  But just two days later, Winn found himself in a hospital trying to block another opponent: one that threatens his life.

“I have Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC).  It causes my liver to leak bile and causes a lot of pain and hospitalizations,” Winn said.  He needs a liver transplant.  But he must wait before his liver fails before he can be put on the donor list.

Hospital trips get expensive.  But luckily for Zacc, he is part of a community that understands this, and has found a ton of support from some very unexpected teammates.
