Just hours after receiving the offer, Prattville linebacker Dytarious Johnson committed to Michigan on Saturday night.
Johnson was one of the many Lions to catch the eye of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh at the Prattville Elite Football Camp on Friday.
“When I went and visited, they filled everything on my list,” Johnson said. “They had everything I wanted in academics, the campus, good sports. They have it all.”
Johnson was second on the team with 82 tackles last season. He also had an interception, a fumble recovery and four passes defended.
The 6-foot, 215-pound outside linebacker is rated a 2-star prospect by Rivals. He also had offers from Troy, Alabama State and South Alabama, among others.
Johnson is the third Prattville player to commit to Michigan since Harbaugh took over in December. Reigning Advertiser All-Metro Player of the Year Keith Washington signed with the Wolverines in February. Running back Kingston Davis committed in April.
