Prattville’s Michigan commits Kingston Davis and Dytarious Johnson are visiting the Michigan-Ohio State game this weekend, but they’re not going alone.
Fellow Prattville teammates Cam Taylor and Austin Wilson will also make the trip, and are looking forward to experiencing a game in “The Big House” when the Wolverines host their rival.
“I heard it was called ‘The Big House’ for a reason,” Taylor said, a sophomore receiver who was offered by Michigan in September. “I had to choose between Michigan-Ohio State and Auburn-Alabama. But since Michigan has offered, I decided to show love to Michigan.”
Davis committed to the Wolverines in April and has visited before, but saved his official visit for the rivalry matchup.
“I expect it to be a crazy, electric atmosphere. I know it’s going to be crazy over there. The fans will be crazy on both sides, it’s a big rivalry game,” Davis said. “I know it’s going to be an electric atmosphere like the Iron Bowl is, if not better. But I’ll see for sure when I go.”
Both Davis and Taylor have grown accustomed to the weather here in the Southeast. Davis isn’t worried about the frigid temperatures, but former Prattville quarterback Keith Washington – now a cornerback at Michigan – warned Taylor to stay warm.
“I’ve been thinking about that. We have those big jackets ready so we won’t freeze up there,” Taylor said.
Taylor and Davis are approaching the weather differently, but have the same prediction for the game.
“I’ll say Michigan 21, Ohio State 14,” Taylor said.
“I’m going to say 28-21, Michigan,” Davis said.
