ALEXANDRIA – Austin Gohl and Grant Lahn were each 2-for-3 to lead Sartell to a 2-0 win over Alexandria on Friday night.
Isaac Dammen allowed two hits over six innings to pick up the win for Sartell (7-4 Central Lakes, 11-5 overall).
Grant Toivonen was 1-for-2 to lead Alexandria (5-4, 9-6).
ST. CLOUD APOLLO 13, SAUK RAPIDS 3 (5 INN.)
SAUK RAPIDS – Ben Alvord doubled and had an RBI to go along with his two hits to lead Apollo. Hunter Blommer, Mike Tiede and Cole Johnson all had two hits each for the Eagles (10-8).
Bjorn Hanson was 2-for-3 with a double for Sauk Rapids.
LITTLE FALLS 4-8, ALBANY 3-1
ST. MARTIN – Little Falls swept Albany in a Granite Ridge Conference doubleheader.
Justin Jenks went 2-for-3 with two runs scored to lead Little Falls in Game 1.
Jonathan Harlander and Neil Anderson each went 2-for-4 for Albany. Harlander drove in two runs.
Thomas Bell went 3-for-3 with two RBI and a solo home run to lead Little Falls in the second game.
Nick Mergen went 2-for-3 for the Huskies.
ST. CLOUD CATHEDRAL 7, MILACA 2
MILACA – Tommy Auger led St. Cloud Cathedral to a Granite Ridge Conference win over Milaca.
Auger picked up the win on the mound for the Crusaders, pitching seven innings, giving up five hits and two runs. He walked two and struck out six.
Brindley Theisen went 2-for-3 with a triple and three RBI to lead Cathedral (11-0 GRC, 15-0 overall) at the plate. Auger went 1-for-3 with a double.
Hunter Johnson went 1-for-3 with two RBI to lead Milaca (3-9, 5-11). Nick Wolbert went 2-for-3.
FOLEY 3-0, BECKER 2-1
FOLEY – Each team won in walk-off fashion as Foley and Becker split.
Noah Winkelman’s walk-off sacrifice fly scored Adam Kron from third base in the bottom of the seventh inning sealed the Game 1 win for the Falcons.
Cameron Jurek pitched 22/3 innings of relief for the win.
Connor Rolf hit a single to left-center field that scored Clayton Gales from second base to lift Becker in the bottom of the ninth inning in the second game.
John Mann allowed three hits in nine innings to get the win for the Bulldogs.
Jurek pitched 81/3 innings, allowed seven hits and struck out seven to get the victory for the Falcons (5-6 Granite Ridge, 10-6 overall).
PAYNESVILLE 9-2, BOLD 5-5
PAYNESVILLE – Grant Thompson was 4-for-4 to the lead the Bulldogs (11-5) in Game 1. Brandon Schleper pitched a complete game to take home the win.
Trent Athmann allowed five hits over seven innings to win Game 2 for the Warriors (13-3).
KIMBALL 3-8, HOLDINGFORD 1-3
KIMBALL – Joe VonWahlde picked up two victories in Kimball’s sweep of Holdingford.
VonWahlde was 2-for-3 with a double and got the complete-game win in the first game with 11 strikeouts. He got the Game 2 win in relief.
Taylor Nitz went 2-for-3 with an RBI triple to lead Holdingford in Game 1.
Holdingford tied the game in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings in Game 2, but the Cubs scored five in the top of the eighth.
Quinten Berres was 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI and Brady Faber went 2-for-3 with three RBI and a double for Kimball (4-7 Central Minnesota, 6-11 overall).
Blake Patrick led the Huskers with two hits.
ST. JOHN’S PREP 3, UPSALA/SWANVILLE 1
ST. JOSEPH – Grant Franke went 2-for-3 with one run scored and Joe Schwieters went 1-for-2 with one RBI to lead St. John’s Prep past Upsala/Swanville.
Joe Stock got the complete-game win for the Johnnies, giving up six hits. He walked three and struck out three.
Austin Johnson drove in Upsala/Swanville’s lone run and took the loss. He pitched six innings, giving up six hits, three runs (one earned) and struck out eight.
ROYALTON 10-1, WEST CENTRAL AREA 0-0
ROYALTON – Nathan Psyck picked up two wins for Royalton in a Prairie Conference doubleheader sweep over West Central Area.
Psyck pitched a two-hitter in Game 1, pitching all five innings and striking out four. He pitched a one-hitter in Game 2, striking out nine.
Brady Moulzolf drove in three runs in the doubleheader. Kyle Billmeyer went 2-for-2 with three RBI in the first game for Royalton (6-10).
MAPLE LAKE 3, ANNANDALE 1
MAPLE LAKE – Nick Preisinger lifted Maple Lake to a win over Annandale.
Preisinger drove in two runs at the plate and picked up the complete-game win for the Irish, allowing five hits and one run. He walked none and struck out four.
Austin Kalla drove in the lone run for Annandale.
LITCHFIELD 6, ST. ANTHONY 2
DELANO – Ross Wendtland went seven innings to get the win for Litchfield at the Delano Wood Bat Tournament.
Wentland finished with an RBI and a double for the Dragons (12-5 overall).
