“I think we’re doing pretty good as a team. I think I’m doing pretty good. My goal for the season is like 1,000 yards and I’m at 500 right now so I think that’s a goal I can achieve. It was pretty awesome scoring the school record of 63 points as a team and being able to beat Two Rivers (Sept. 18). I feel that we can have an undefeated season and make it to the playoffs and hopefully go as far in state as we can.”
Coach Mike Dressler’s thoughts
“Ben’s done an outstanding job, he’s kind of like a reflection of our team — big heart, works hard and comes to practice ready to play every day. If you come into our locker room the record on the board says 0-0 so every week we start all over. Ben has been giving us a running game along with Tyler Kienbaum and he’s given us some really good games, not just with his quickness but his ability to break tackles. His strength is his ability to follow his blockers.”
