The Fort Collins High School girls soccer team dealt Fairview its first loss of the season in a 1-0 road win Tuesday.
Nicole Dietrich scored the game’s only goal in the 42nd minute on an assist from Jill Rankin as the Lambkins blanked the Knights, who are ranked the No. 7 team in Class 5A in the most recent CHSAAnow.com poll.
Jordan Leone recorded the shut out in goal.
Fort Collins (4-5, 3-3 Front Range League) will next play Mountain Range at home at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN 2, MOUNTAIN RANGE 1 — The Lobos edged Mountain Range on the road to remain undefeated. No individual statistics were reported.

LIBERTY COMMON 10, DENVER CHRISTIAN 1 — Sarah Schaffer scored four goals and had two assists in the Eagles’ road win.
Liz Yeh also had a hat trick with three goals and two assist. Olivia Bachelet scored two goals and Kayla Rhoads added one goal and six assists.

POUDRE 6, HORIZON 2 — Alli Gray recorded a hat trick in the Impalas’ road win.
Aubrey Powell contributed two goals and Gemma Galvez chipped in one. Poudre (4-3, 2-3 FRL) will next play at Broomfield at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
DAWSON SCHOOL 6, HERITAGE CHRISTIAN 1 — Ellie Beery scored the Eagles’ only goal in their loss at home.
Heritage Christian (1-4) will next play at No. 7 Liberty Common (3A) at 11 a.m. Saturday.
ROCKY MOUNTAIN 14, BROOMFIELD 2 — Chad Bell had seven RBI on a three-run home run and walk-off grand slam in the Lobos’ home win cut short after five innings. Garrett Hammer also hit a grand slam and Cole Anderson had one home run.
Rocky Mountain is ranked No. 2 in 5A in this week’s Associated Press media poll. The Lobos (5-3, 2-0 FRL) will next play at Monarch at 4 p.m. Thursday.
RESURRECTION CHRISTIAN 29, HIGHLAND 1 — Luke Mondt racked up 11 RBI, going 5 for 5 with four runs in the Cougars’ road win.
Luke Fick added four hits and five runs in the game cut short after five innings. RCS had 23 hits altogether.
RCS is ranked No. 2 in 2A in this week’s AP poll. The Cougars (6-1, 1-0 District 4) will next play Front Range Christian at home at 10 a.m. Saturday.
HORIZON 8, FORT COLLINS 2 — Ben Jenkins hit a solo home run in the Lambkins’ road loss.
Fort Collins (4-4, 1-1 FRL) will next play Legacy at home at 4 p.m. Thursday.
LIBERTY COMMON 14, DENVER ACADEMY 3 — A seven-run first inning set the tone for the Eagles in their home win cut short after four and a half innings. Will Denton picked up the victory on the pitching mound.
Liberty Common (3-3, 1-1 Mile High) will next play Cornerstone Christian at home at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
FOSSIL RIDGE 19, LEGACY — Keegan Lecher and Jadon Uhrich each hit one home run in the SaberCats’ road win.
Fossil Ridge (2-6, 1-1 FRL) will next play Pomona at home at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
MONARCH 9, POUDRE 2 — Keaton Bartlett and Cam Spieth each had one RBI in the Impalas’ loss at home to No. 8 Monarch.
Poudre (1-7, 0-2 FRL) will next play at Legacy at 11 a.m. Saturday.
FOSSIL RIDGE 213, FAIRVIEW 99 — Evan Ostojic recorded his first state-qualifying score of 203.35 in dive in the SaberCats’ home win.
Fossil Ridge had 16 individual performances that made state cuts.
LEGACY 146, POUDRE 39 — Ben Work won the 100 fly and 200 IM in the Impalas’ loss on the road. Gabe Rabold finished third in both the 200 and 500 free, as did Jae Suh in the 100 free.
FAIRVIEW 5, FOSSIL RIDGE 2 — The doubles teams of Sam Penhale and Bailey Koronich, as well as Lydia Supe’ and Katie Hinz won their respective matches in the SaberCats’ road loss.
Fossil Ridge (6-2) will next play in the Cherry Creek Invitational beginning at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
KENT DENVER 5, POUDRE 2 — The Impalas suffered their first loss of the season on the road.
The doubles teams of Laura Lenczycki and Anna Hoffman, as well as Regan Burnham and Emily Kenney won their respective matches.
Poudre (3-1) will next play at Fairview at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
