Fort Collins High School’s Zach Fees, shown in a game last season, had four RBI and picked up the win on the mound in a 6-3 win over Loveland Wednesday afternoon.

A huge day from Zach Fees helped the Fort Collins High School baseball team beat Loveland 6-3 on the road Wednesday.

The senior had a double, home run and four RBI. He also picked up the win on the mound, throwing four innings allowing one run.

Kyler Paterson and Cody Faber had an RBI each. Quinn Tomasino had a double and scored two runs.

The Lambkins move to 11-5 and 7-2 in Front Range League play. Fort Collins is third in the FRL and plays at Broomfield at 4 p.m. Thursday.

RESURRECTION CHRISTIAN 14, LYONS 1 — Several seniors had big days as the Cougars, No. 2 in Class 2A, moved to 12-2 on the season.

Caleb Robbins had two doubles and three hits and three RBI. Luke Mondt had three RBI and Tex Feilmeier had two RBI. Koby Bishop also had two hits.

Jake Tomcheck, Colton Webb, Luke Fick and Mondt combined to allow one-hit on the mound.

GIRLS SOCCER

HERITAGE CHRISTIAN 10, MILE HIGH ACADEMY 0 — Ellie Beery had six goals and two assists as Heritage Christian (3-9) won at home in its final game of the season.

Hannah Hays had two goals, Rhianna Quanstrom had a goal and assist and Morgan Sackett added a goal.

WINDSOR 5, MEAD 0 — The Wizards won their 10th game in a row to move to 13-1 overall and 7-0 in Tri-Valley Conference play. No stats were reported. Windsor is ranked No. 7 in 4A in the CHSAANow.com girls soccer poll.

GIRLS TENNIS

REGION 7 — Five Poudre positions made finals and the other two are alive in playbacks after the first day of regionals in Arapahoe.

Ky Ecton (No. 1) and Isabella Giannini (No. 3) are in finals at singles. Alisa Petersen and Emma Campbell are in finals at No. 1 doubles. Laura Lenczycki and Anna Hoffman are in finals at No. 2 doubles and Emily Kenney and Regan Burnham are in finals at No. 3 doubles. The Impalas are second behind Arapahoe in team scores.
