JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In just his second year as head coach of the Providence football program, Jeff Kopp coached the Stallions to an appearance in the regional semifinals and it best record since 2010 (10-3).
Providence finished 8-3 in 2014, breaking a three year streak of 6-5 seasons.
Kopp and the Stallions began spring football this week, as did many schools on the First Coast. Kopp, now entering his third season with the program said while the team is looking to build off the success from last year in the fall, the spring is all about fundamentals and establishing good practice habits.
Spring football wraps up for Providence, May 21, when the Stallions travel to Menendez for the annual spring game.
