Recent Smoky Mountain graduate Cal Raleigh has been named an All-American once again.
Raleigh is a second-team catcher on the MaxPreps Medium Schools All-American baseball team.
The Citizen-Times All-WNC Player of the Year and Western North Carolina Athletic Conference Player of the Year batted .459 with 23 RBIs, 20 stolen bases, 10 home runs and five doubles for the WNCAC champion Mustangs (17-6).
Raleigh has also been named an All-American in the past two years by Louisville Slugger and Under Armour.
He is currently uncommitted, but hopes to choose soon between Florida State, Virginia and Western Carolina University. The Cavaliers recently won the College World Series.
