Does the following describe you?

  • Junior or Senior high school athlete with talent that projects to playing in college
  • Not currently being highly recruited
  • Good student and good teammate
  • Haven’t tried to connect with any college coaches

If the above describes you, then the chances of a college coach suddenly finding you are like the chance of finding a needle in a haystack. There are thousands of other athletes out there competing for scholarships. For some reason they haven’t found you yet, so something has to change. You have to reach out to reach out to college coaches and let them know you are interested in their program.

Don’t be afraid to contact coaches and don’t expect someone else to do it for you. Being proactive shows initiative and separates you from the crowd. Don’t sit back and wait to be discovered…It may not happen. Put together a recruiting game plan and pursue your dream.
