The Bellevue tennis team improved to 2-2 on the season after the Redmen picked up a non-league win over Upper Sandusky Friday, 4-1.
Tate Schoen, Aaron Price and Jared Schnee each won singles matches in straight sets.
“Tate, Aaron, and Jared are playing pretty well right now for us, which is good – when league play picks up we’ll need as much as we can from our singles guys,” Bellevue coach Jim Picciuto said.
Josh Becks and John Smith also woin for Bellevue at No. 2 singles though the No. 1 singles team of Jake Chagolla and Nick Bock lost in a third-set tie-breaker.
“Both our doubles played well tonight, we only got one win, but both played well and are getting better every match,” Picciuto said.
