The winners of the 51 states and the District of Columbia along with five wild cards — the top overall vote getters that were not state winners — have advanced.
Voting continues through 2 p,m, ET on March 12. The eight regional winners and two wild cards then move on to the final round, where the top three will win a banner for its gym and a cash prize for the athletic department budget. The overall winner also gets a ceremony at the school to celebrate and honor the program.
Here is the criteria to determine the best program:
- On-court success (all levels)
- Coaching/Player Development
- Fans/Attendance (community support)
- Facilities/Training/Uniforms
