Demetric Warren of varsitypreps.com first reported the news.

Bowie, a four-star prospect, committed to Alabama in June. The 6-foot-1, 197-pounder has visited Ole Miss several times during the 2015 season. Bowie is the No. 2 ranked prospect in Mississippi according to 247Sports and the No. 11 wide receiver and No. 58 overall player in 2017. He is the first commitment for the Rebels in 2017.

Bowie holds offers from Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Miami and Southern Miss. The receiver told The Clarion-Ledger that Ole Miss was in heavy pursuit several weeks ago.

“I hear from Miami U, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Alabama all the time,” Bowie said. “Right now Ole Miss is on me the hardest. They DM me on Twitter all the time telling me they want me to come up there and work out. I tell them I’m going to try.”
