Christian DeWitt scored a team-high 17 points to pace Blackman to a 62-38 win over Gadsden City (Ala.) on Monday night in the Huntsville, Ala. tournament held at Bob Jones High School.
Jacob Nelson chipped in with 13. Deonte’ Alley, Jarrell Reeves and Donovan Sims each added seven.
Blackman (1-0) plays Creek Wood at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Stewarts Creek 52, Shelbyville 50: Tyler Conley led Stewarts Creek (1-1) with 14 points. Teammate Jonathan Delleaux added 13.
Summit 79, Riverdale 67: Gentry Bonds scored 19 points to pace Riverdale (0-3). Jonathan Matthews added 13 and Preston Barge had 11.
John Carter led Summit with a game-high 28 points.

Smyrna 51, Ravewnood 31: Kesha Brady scored a game-high 27 points to lead Smyrna to the win Monday night.
Candace Gaines added six for Smyrna (2-0). Kiera Downey led Ravenwood with 10 points.
Siegel 41, M.L. King 25: Correna Ellis and Patricia Brown each recorded double-doubles in the win for the Lady Stars. Ellis had 14 points and 12 rebounds. Brown recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Riverdale 85, Summit 34: Anastasia Hayes scored 19 to lead the Lady Warriors (4-0). Brinate Alexander chipped in with 12, Aislynn Hayes had 11 and Caroline Patrick tallied 10.
Stewarts Creek 40, Shelbyville 33: Jasmine Smith led Creek with 12 points. Brandi Ferby added eight.

La Vergne’s Austin Bobbit (145) and Kamron Holliman (152) beat their Stewarts Creek opponents via pin.
Against Warren County, Stewarts Creek’s Dylan Coggins (120 pounds), Rogers (126), South (138), Eric Souksavong (145), Silvers (170), Olivieri (182) and Tyler Barber (285) all won by fall.
