Oakland Middle reached the boys basketball program’s 100th win in a 39-24 victory over Whitworth-Buchanan on Monday night.
T.J. Cross led the Chargers (10-0 overall, 5-0 in county play) with nine points. Zion Swader and DeArre McDonald had eight points apiece.
Blackman 54, La Vergne 24: Ray Tyler scored a game-high 33 points to pace the Flames to the win.
Rock Springs 59, Smyrna Middle 34: J.J. Platt led Rock Springs with 14 points. Teammate Raymond Slaughter tallied 12. Jason Watkins led Smyrna with seven. Teammate Dajaun Gibson had six.
Rockvale 53, Central Magnet 23: Rockvale’s Ronnie Rankins scored 20 points to lead all scorers.
Oakland 33, Whitworth-Buchanan 24: Sydney Mickulin scored 17 points to lead Oakland to the win. Teammate Claira McGowan added eight.
Chelsi Goodrich had nine points to pace Whitworth-Buchanan. Kelsie Prather added six.
Rockvale 34, Central Magnet 15: Victoria Page and Faith Anderson scored 12 points apiece to lead the Lady Ravens.
Fatima Razzaq led Central with five.
Stewarts Creek 49, Thurman Francis 32: Ashari Leonard led Stewarts Creek with 12 points. Teammate Jasmine Davis added 10 points. And Zhordan Shannon had nine points and Ainsley Palmer tallied eight.
Kendall Smith led Thurman Francis with 14 points.
