Dalton Bradfield rushed for 138 yards and four touchdowns, and Nick Patterson had 120 rushing yards and one touchdown as Germantown crushed Holmes Central, 42-22, in a Region 2-5A matchup.
Bradfield had scoring runs of 11, 11, 23 and 14 yards, with the last putting the Mavericks (4-3, 2-1) up 42-14 in the fourth quarter.
Adams County Christian 27, Cathedral 17: At Natchez, Carlos Woods had four passing touchdowns — three to Shavarick Williams — as Adams County Christian knocked off Academy AAA’s top-ranked Cathedral Green Wave 27-17 on Friday in a key 4-AAA battle. The Rebels (8-0, 3-0) built a 20-3 lead in the first quarter and held on to remain unbeaten. Cathedral’s Conner Mire had a 45-yard TD pass to JJ Jenkins, and Jardarius Anderson had a 73-yard punt return for a score for the Green Wave (6-2, 2-1).
Clinton 44, Murrah 20: At Clinton, Cam Akers accounted for three touchdowns (two rushing, one passing) as the Arrows (5-2, 3-0) picked up their fourth win in a row.
Jackson Prep 51, Parklane 14: At Flowood, Chance Lovertich rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another score, and Jacob Crawley had two rushing touchdowns as the Patriots (8-0) cruised out to a 38-0 halftime lead.
Oxford 56, Lewisburg 21: At Oxford, Jack Abraham was 15 of 18 passing for 214 yards and three touchdowns as the Chargers (5-2, 3-0) built a 28-0 lead after the first quarter. Josh Patton rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns, and the Chargers also forced four turnovers. Jake Harville was 8 of 19 passing for 99 yards and two interceptions for Lewisburg (2-6, 0-3); he also caught a 15-yard touchdown pass; Ben Hoffman rushed for 143 yards and a touchdown.
Collins 36, Tylertown 22: At Collins, the top-ranked Tigers trailed 7-6 at the half before they put away the No. 2 Chiefs (6-1, 1-1) in the second half. Detric Hawthorn had two touchdown passes of 22 and 55 yards, and Ken Rhodes had a 17-yard fumble return for a score in the first quarter. Martavious Washington helped put Collins (7-1, 2-0) up 28-14 in the third quarter on a 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
Grenada 30, Ridgeland 22: At Ridgeland, Grenada quarterback Jaquarrius Bell hooked up with Tyrus Black three times on touchdown passes of 47, 8 and 25 yards for the Chargers (5-2, 3-0). JP Elkins had two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown for the Titans (2-6, 2-1).
Tri-County 26, Benton Academy 25: At Flora, Bo Johnson hit Mitchell Broadwater for an 80-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, and with Brady Odom’s extra point, Tri-County (7-1, 4-0) completed a rally after trailing 19-0 in the first half. Jacob Sones had a 70-yard touchdown catch for the Rebels in the second quarter and then returned an interception 18 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Simpson Academy 55, Columbia Academy 27: At Magee, Kyle Burney rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns and had an interception return of 80 yards for another score in the win for the Cougars (7-1, 1-1). Cook Weathersby had a 37-yard interception return for a TD and a 38-yard scoring run for Simpson in the fourth quarter.
Wayne County 28, West Jones 7: At Laurel, Wayne County’s Reggie Stewart had rushing touchdowns of 3, 13 and 36 yards, and Deandre Gandy returned a 79-yard interception for a touchdown as the War Eagles improved to 5-2 (3-0 in 3-5A).
South Panola 32, Hernando 7: At Hernando, Tyler Pogue had two passing touchdowns (3, 54 yards) and Oluwain Hoskins had runs of 1 and 31 yards for touchdowns for the No. 1 Tigers (7-0, 3-0).
Picayune 28, Hattiesburg 27: At Hattiesburg, Picayune’s Skylar Bowman’s 13-yard touchdown run and his two-point conversion run late in the fourth quarter lifted the Maroon Tide (4-3, 3-0) over the No. 9 Tigers (6-2, 2-1). Fabian Franklin had TD runs of 26 and 70 yards, and Julian Conner had a rushing and passing touchdown for Hattiesburg.
East Webster 17, Winona 0: At Winona, quarterback Jack Wilson had touchdown runs of 5 and 3 yards to carry the Wolverines (7-1, 1-1).
