Central Catholic’s Morgan Brown has a three-stroke lead over Harrison’s Ally Ross in the medalist race. The event, leading up to Saturday’s Lafayette Jeff Sectional, concludes Thursday.
Lafayette Jeff shot a team score of 179 and holds an 18-shot lead over Harrison and Central Catholic thanks to its depth. Sydney Gregory is one stroke behind Donahue after shooting 44. Kaylee Cox and Jordan Cox fired matching 46s.
Benton Central, behind 45s from Ashley Braaksma and Abbigail Shore, is fourth at 201. Maddy Webster’s 48 led McCutcheon, fifth at 212. Lydia Shook carded a 51 for West Lafayette, which stands at 215.

Goals from Hannah Carrithers and Jill Vandewalle helped the Mavericks hold on.
McCutcheon led 1-0 at halftime and relied on its defense to win this Tippecanoe County/North Central Conference matchup. Karsen Scheumann made two saves and Bree Coleman had 1 as McCutcheon outshot Jeff 9-4.
Jennie Flauhaut scored off an assist from Brook Switzer for the Bronchos (4-2-2).

The Class A top-ranked Knights continued their dominant play, hitting .382 and getting nine kills from Cameron Onken in a 25-15, 25-23, 25-11 home victory.
Kiana Fields had three solos among her seven blocks. Belle Kendrick set up the Knights (14-0) with 16 assists.
Megan Herr pounded down 13 kills without an error to go with five blocks for the Cougars in a 25-6, 25-11, 25-7 victory.
Grace Filbrun also had a big night for Carroll (12-0) with 23 assists and nine aces. Libby Eller collected 16 digs. The Cougars hit .437 , getting six kills apiece from Lauren Worl and Meghan Miller. Madison Miller had four kills.
