Moeller’s Grant Macciocchi didn’t allow a runner to reach second base in a 1-0 win over La Salle Monday.
Macciocchi struck out 12 and only allowed one hit to earn his fifth win this season.
LaSalle’s Brian Schwankhaus received his first loss after an unearned run scored in the first inning.
CHCA 14, North College Hill 0: After throwing a perfect game and a no-hitter in his previous two outings, Tommy Yates nearly held another team hitless.
The CHCA senior got throw 4 2/3 innings of Monday’s 5-inning game before North College Hill was able to get a hit off of him. It snapped Yates’ consecutive hitless innings streak at 14 2/3.
Anderson 5, Glen Este 4 (eight innings): Anderson’s Jake Newton rolled a grounder to third base scoring Eddie Pursinger on a walk-off hit.
Newton finished 2-for-3 with a run batted in and Drew Mathews went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI.
Lakota East 3, Colerain 2: Andy Almquist pitched a complete game and struck out 13 Colerain batters.
Lakota West 4, Middletown 0: Senior Alex Wagner threw a complete game shutout and struck out 13 batters.
New Richmond 11, Western Brown 0 (five innings): Junior outfielder Nick Laub went 2-for-3 with a double, triple and four RBI.
Princeton 5, Hamilton 3: Brett Bosel hit a single and a triple, knocking in two runs for Princeton.
Bethel-Tate 7, Blanchester 6: Maddie Lannigan layed down a squeeze with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seven to knock in the game-winning run.
Lebanon 7, West Carrollton 0: Lebanon senior pitcher Tara Trainer pitched a 17 strikeout no-hitter, giving her five no-hitters on the year. Trainer also had a home run and four RBI at the plate.
Deer Park 5, Reading 1: Sophomore Jenna Shepherd pitched a complete game for Deer Park.
Senior Lacey Chadwell went 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI for Deer Park.
St. Ursula 7, Ursuline 6: Senior catcher Taryn Osborne went 4-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead St. Ursula.
