Boys basketball

Allen Park Inter-City Baptist 46, Taylor Truman 42: Brady Fressel and Luke Barber each scored 12 points while Garrett Kraatz finished with 11 in the contest for Inter-City Baptist (13-3 overall in the MIAC Blue). Airren Watkins finished with a team-high 11 points in defeat for Truman (6-8).

Girls basketball

Detroit Country Day 72, Flint Hamady 36: Destiny Pitts had 15 points for Detroit Country Day (13-2). Kaela Webb added 13 points and Erika Tolbert had 11 points for Country Day. Jalisha Terry and Aaliah Hill had 10 apiece for Flint Hamady (15-1).

Farmington Hills Mercy 74, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep 50: Taylor Jones scored 30 points, Zora Pullen finished with 12 points and Sierra Wangler added 10 in the victory for Mercy (14-3 overall Catholic League A-B). Jessica Ratliff recorded a team-high 14 points in the losing effort for Notre Dame Prep (6-10 A-B).

Henry Ford Dearborn Academy 62, Romulus Summit Academy 13: Phoenix Douthat finished with a game-high 26 points and 13 steals while eclipsing the 1,000-point mark in her career in the quarterfinals victory for Henry Ford Dearborn Academy (14-2 Charter School). Also, Gabrielle Farrell added 10 points and MaLika Washington chipped in with eight rebounds and 13 blocks in the contest for Henry Ford Dearborn Academy. Alexis Good finished with a team-high five points in the loss for Summit Academy.

Old Redford 72, Bradford 63: Maria Knott scored 22 points and pulled down 20 rebounds, Alexus Pack finished with 19 points and 11 boards while Chardae Green chipped in with 17 points and nine boards in the quarterfinals contest for Old Redford (8-4, 6-4 Charter School). Christian Epps scored a game-high 23 points in defeat for Bradford (5-4 in Charter School).


Cranbrook 6, Rochester United 2

: P.J. Regula scored one goal and added one assist, Alex Regula recorded two goals, Jack Blumberg chipped in with one goal and an assist while Spencer Applebaum finished with 18 saves in the contest for Cranbrook (16-2-4).
