Brandon Corey tallied a hat trick to lead Spencerport to a 5-3 win against Batavia/Alexander in a Section V hockey game on Saturday.
Corey’s first goal marked his 100th career point. He scored the first three goals for Spencerport (7-7). Corey’s third goal came with 1.2 seconds left in the second period to give the Rangers a 3-2 lead.
Nick Charron scored with 2:55 left to put Spencerport ahead 4-3.
Cam Ells had a goal and an assist for Batavia/Alexander (4-7-1).
Pittsford 1, Fairport 1
Mason Echman scored a power play goal two minutes into the second period that tied the game for Fairport (12-2-1).
Ethan Kaisar stopped 26 shots for the Red Raiders.
Jack Kaufman had a goal for Pittsford with three minutes left in the first period for Pittsford (10-3-2).
Danny Kelly made 24 saves for the Panthers.
It was “Paint the Rink Pink” at RIT’s Ritter Arena to raise money for breast cancer research.

Mike Klim recorded a goal and an assist and A.J. Huck added a goal for Gates Chili (10-5).
Darcy Mitchell and Joe Blankenberg chipped in with a goal apiece for the Spartans.
Freddy Peters made 25 saves for Gates Chili.
Brent Carlson had a goal for Webster Schroeder.
Hilton 3, Webster Thomas 1
Jake Palumbo scored twice and Justin Allen added a goal for Hilton (9-3-2).
Allen’s was the go-ahead goal with 5:58 left.
Patrick Denndhy made 27 saves for the Cadets.
Matt Weshapp had a goal for Thomas (9-6).
McQuaid 7, Irondequoit 4
Jack Dugan and Christian Leonardi each recorded a goal and two assists for McQuaid (14-1).
Leonardi scored late in the second period to give the Knights a 5-3 lead.
Louis Cup scored all four goals for Irondequoit (8-7).
Livingston County Championships
Nic Wolfer of Avon won two individual events and swam on a winning relay to lead Avon to the team title.
Wolfer, the Swimmer of the Meet, swam a state qualifying time of 48.54 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle. He won the 50 freestyle in 22.40 seconds. He was part of the Braves’ first-place 200 freestyle relay.
Livonia’s Paul LaRue won the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke and Geneseo’s Thomas Marshall won the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle.
Shane Gilman set a meet record and a state qualifying time in 1-meter diving with a 524.00 points for Dansville.
