Since the New Year kicked off, Mahopac has quietly been pulling together and winning. There are no spectacular teams playing out of BIA this season, but the Indians might be good enough to win a playoff game if they improve their standing over the next few weeks.
Mahopac is heading to Pawling for a crossover game tonight. I’m off, so if you’re going, keep us posted.
Schedule for January 13
Mahopac vs. Pawling, 7:30 p.m. at Trinity-Pawling
Scores from January 12
Stepinac 6, St. Mary’s 1
Scarsdale 9, Rye Town/Harrison 1
Rob Sanders and Brian Donovan each scored twice for Stepinac in a 6-1 win over St. Mary’s that moved the Crusaders into first place in the CHSHL B Division. Tyler Rosado had 24 saves.
