Class AFirst round
Thursday
No. 9 Lakeland/Panas (6-10) at No. 8 Mahopac (8-8)
4:15 p.m.
Outlook: Both teams have battled injuries all season long. There will likely be key contributors on the sideline for this one, as well.
Pick: Lakeland/Panas 11, Mahopac 8
No. 10 Clarkstown South (5-11) at No. 7 Suffern (10-6)
4:30 pm
Outlook: For some reason, the Mounties have struggled to win close games. This shouldn’t be a close game.
Pick: Suffern 12, Clarkstown South 5
Quarterfinals
Saturday
Lakeland/Panas-Mahopac winner at Fox Lane
Arlington at Wappingers
North Rockland at White Plains
Suffern-Clarkstown South winner at Mamaroneck
Semifinals

Class BFirst round
Thursday
No. 9 Eastchester (8-7) at No. 8 Ossining (9-7)
4:30 p.m.
Outlook: It’s probably not a good idea to overlook what the Eagles are doing on the defensive end of the field.
Pick: Eastchester 9, Ossining 4
No. 12 Tappan Zee (6-10) at No. 5 Hen Hud (11-5)
7 p.m.
Outlook: The Sailors were upset a few times during the regular-season, but they will undoubtedly come out charged up for a playoff game.
Pick: Hen Hud 15, Tappan Zee 3
No. 13 Greeley (4-12) at No. 4 Pelham (11-5)
5 p.m.
Outlook: Greeley’s record is the result of playing in a difficult league, but the Quakers have not displayed the kind of goal-scoring ability needed to win a close playoff game.
Pick: Pelham 7, Greeley 6
No. 14 Pearl River (5-11) at No. 3 Rye (11-5)
5:30 p.m.
Outlook: The Garnets had a great second half in the regular season, closing on a 6-2 run. There’s no reason to believe that momentum will be disrupted.
Pick: Rye 13, Pearl River 4
No. 11 Somers (6-10) at No. 6 Byram Hills (10-6)
5:30 p.m.
Outlook: This game has some history. Last year, the Bobcats sent the Tuskers home, winning a crazy semifinal. This could be another good one.
Pick: Byram Hills 8, Somers 7
No. 10 Sleepy Hollow (7-9) at No. 7 John Jay (9-7)
6 p.m.
Outlook: There won’t be any culture shock because the Horsemen did play some good teams during the regular season, but none of those games were close.
Pick: John Jay 13, Sleepy Hollow 4
No. 15 Nyack (5-11) at No. 2 Harrison (13-3)
5:30 p.m.
Outlook: Progress was made by the Indians this season, but they still have a way to go before they are competitive in the postseason.
Pick: Harrison 11, Nyack 6

Saturday
Eastchester-Ossining winner at Yorktown
Tappan Zee-Hen Hud winner vs. Greeley-Pelham winner
Rye-Pearl River winner vs. Somers-Byram Hills winner

Class CFirst Round
Thursday
No. 9 Rye Neck (11-5) at No. 8 Hastings (10-6)
4:30 p.m.
Outlook: The Panthers have come a long way in a short time, but keeping up with the Yellow Jackets was a problem when they met last week.
Pick: Hastings 14, Rye Neck 10
No. 12 Croton (7-9) No. 5 Nanuet (12-4)
4:30 p.m.
Outlook: It’s going to be closer than most think. Croton has played some very good teams again this season and has enough scoring punch to pull off an upset.
Pick: Croton 8, Nanuet 6
No. 13 Dobbs Ferry (7-7) at No. 4 Putnam Valley (11-5)
4:45 p.m.
Outlook: The combined record of the five teams the Tigers lost to is 55-25, so this is an uphill battle for the Eagles.
Pick: Putnam Valley 11, Dobbs Ferry 5
No. 14 North Salem (7-9) at No. 3 Briarcliff (14-2)
5 p.m.
Outlook: It’s been such a good season for the Bears, and losing in the first round would be a disaster for a program looking to make some noise.
Pick: Briarcliff 12, North Salem 3
No. 11 Lourdes (9-7) at No. 6 Haldane (11-5)
4:15 p.m.
Outlook: How far can two standout players carry the Blue Devils? Into the quarterfinals, if they get a little help.
Pick: Haldane 12, Lourdes 10
No. 10 Westlake (9-7) at No. 7 Irvington (8-7)
5 p.m.
Outlook: The Bulldogs have thrown scares into some really good teams like Pleasantville and Briarcliff, and should be able to handle the upstart Wildcats again.
Pick: Irvington 12, Westlake 7
No. 15 Keio (5-10) at No. 2 Bronxville (12-4)
3:45 p.m.
Outlook: Making the playoffs is a victory for the Unicorns. The Broncos are in better health, and will be able to rest the returning standouts if need be in this one.
