No. 3 White Plains (13-4) at No. 2 Mamaroneck (11-6)
Previous meeting: Mamaroneck won 15-13 on April 27
Keep an eye on: Brendan Johnson (WP), Kevin Trapp (WP), Reed Malas (Mk), Eric Greenberg (Mk).
Outlook: This is your game if you like to see teams shoot and score quality goals. Both teams are hoping they show up with a hot goalie, and know the importance of taking care of the ball.
Pick: Mamaroneck 13, White Plains 10
No. 8 Mahopac (10-8) at No. 5 Arlington (10-7)
Previous meeting: Arlington won 8-6 on March 28
Keep an eye on: Dan Foley (M), Christain Donahoe (M), Brendan Sunday (A), Kevin Litchauer (A).
Outlook: Both of these squads battled health issues all season long and will be close to full speed. The Indians have a lot of confidence after taking out the top seed, and will need to repeat that performance on the defensive end.
Pick: Mahopac 7, Arlington 6
No. 4 Pelham (13-5) at No. 1 Yorktown (13-4)
Previous meeting: None
Keep an eye on: Ryan Baker (Yk), Michael Dedvukaj (Yk), Davis Allen (Pel), Gibby Smith (Pel).
Outlook: The Huskers still haven’t played a complete game, but can be hard to stop once they start to find the net. Ball control is a key for the Pelicans, who can be a pesky bunch if they have energy on defense.
Pick: Yorktown 13, Pelham 6
No. 11 Somers (8-10) at No. No. 7 John Jay (11-7)
Previous meeting: John Jay won 18-5 on April 25 and 14-3 on May 5
Keep an eye on: Ryan Lee (JJ), Matt Lupinacci (JJ), Andrew Gross (S), Joe Hashmall (S)
Outlook: The return of Tyler DeVito has paid immediate dividends, but the Tuskers need to make up a lot more ground to be competitive in this one. The Indians went 0-5 to start the season, but are giving up just 5.7 goals in the 13 games since.
Pick: John Jay 12, Somers 7
No. 5 Nanuet (14-4) at No. 1 Pleasantville (16-1)
Previous meeting: None
Keep an eye on: Jack Drillock (Pv), Josh Della Puca (Pv), Brian McGreevy (Nt), Pat Fay (Nt).
Outlook: The Golden Knights tip-toed up to the playoffs and started making noise, eliminating Putnam Valley, but this is a different level. The Panthers have only been held under 10 goals four times.
Pick: Pleasantville 12, Nanuet 5
No. 3 Briarcliff (16-2) at No. 2 Bronxville (14-4)
Previous meeting: Bronxville won 18-2 on March 31
Keep an eye on: Henry Grass (Bx), Charlie Tarry (Bx), Danny Millner (Bc), John Plimpton (Bc).
Outlook: Can the Bears play a perfect game? Everything has to fall into place for them or it will not be competitive for long. The Broncos normally raise the intensity when they get close to playing for another Section 1 title.
Pick: Bronxville 15, Briarcliff 6
