After falling behind 4-0 in the first inning, Henry Hudson scored three in the bottom of the second inning and four more runs in the bottom of the sixth, holding on for a big Shore Conference Class B Central 7-6 win over Mater Dei Prep on Friday.

Olivia Iannace got things going for the Admirals at the plate after a two run home run in the bottom of the second inning.

Julia DiGorgio provided the clutch hit into left field in the bottom of the sixth inning for the Admirals that would score two runs, giving Henry Hudson the first lead of the game.

Kendall Keelan won her 11th game of the season for the Admirals, going seven innings for five earned runs and two strikeouts.

Mater Dei Prep threatened to tie the game in the top of the seventh, but could only push across two runs.

Middletown North 12, Ocean 2: Christine Gebhardt went 4-for-5 and Nikki Alfano also went 3-for 3 as the Lions picked up a Monmouth County Tournament win over the Spartans. Riley Kernan secured the win in the circle for the Lions, striking out five.

Giovanna Russomanno hit a two run home run for the Spartans, it was her second of the season.

Donovan Catholic 11, Barnegat 1: Rebecca Drake hit a triple and a home run leading the Griffins over the Bengals in a Class B South meeting. Mackenzie Bakker and Alexa Pagano also each recorded a double for Donovan.

Amanda MacBurnie picked up her first win of the season inside the the circle striking out three.

Keansburg 13, Asbury Park 3: Stephanie Walters and Cheyenne Lyons each had two RBI leading the Titans over the Bishops in a Class B Central game. Angela Osterbye also went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for the Titans.

Manchester 15, Lakewood 1: Anya Kane and Emily Lynch each had three hits leading the Hawks over the Piners in a Class B South matchup. The Hawks scored a total of nine runs in the bottom of the second inning.

Marlboro 10, Freehold 0: Melanie Beal picked up her eighth win of the season leading the Mustangs over the Colonials in a Class A North game. Brianna Brienza hit two doubles and Macie Ditillo and Phoebe Li each hit a triple for Marlboro in the win.

Point Beach 14, Ranney 0: Alexa Russell went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored leading the Garnet Gulls over the Panthers in a Class B Central game. Kellyann Ohlinger hit a bases loaded triple in the fourth inning leading to a total of seven runs in bottom half of the inning.

Kylee Kells pitched a one hitter and struck out eight for the Garnet Gulls.
