Haleigh Schanz had two goals and an assist to lead host Arlington over Mahopac High School, 4-0, in girls soccer on Friday.
Kira Murphy and Molly Feighan each added a goal and an assist, and Rachael Moran had an assist for the Admirals (11-4). Becky Gold made one save in the shutout.
With the win, Arlington clinched the League A title for a second straight season, according to coach Kieran McIlvenny.
“The girls have played very well,” McIlvenny said. “We have a tough schedule and it’s a difficult league, so that’s prepared us. They’ve been working hard so it’s good to see them get rewarded for it.”
Arlington hosts North Rockland at 4:15 p.m. Monday. The Admirals will then await the playoff seeding and schedule to be released on Tuesday.
Wallkill 1, Marlboro 0 — Eliz Fino made five saves in the loss for host Marlboro (5-7). Angelina Miller scored in the third minute for Wallkill.
Pine Bush 3, Franklin D. Roosevelt 1 — Sydney Currier scored off a pass from Abby Thomas in the seventh minute and Kelsie McDowell made four saves in the loss for host Roosevelt (3-8-1).
Rondout Valley 5, Webutuck 0 — Laura Mendez made 11 saves in the loss for visiting Webutuck (1-12).
Webutuck hosts Pawling at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Ellenville 4, Highland 1 — Danielle McGrath scored and Tori Capobianco made five saves in the loss for visiting Highland late Thursday. The Huskies are 3-9-2.
Dennis Hare scored three goals while Colin Sullivan added one goal to lead Red Hook over Poughkeepsie, 4-1, late Thursday. Sullivan, Owen Sagerman and Jeff Kiluba each had assists.
Hare’s goal, off a header early in the second half, gave the Raiders a 2-0 lead.
Daniel Juarez scored off a pass from Manny Alfonso in the 52nd minute and Jose Martinez made 11 saves for Poughkeepsie (4-9).
“It’s good prep for the MHALs (Mid-Hudson Athletic League tournament),” said Red Hook coach Steve Sutton, whose Raiders improved to 13-1. “We played up a level and we were able to get Dennis (Hare) free a couple times, and that makes a difference.”
The Raiders will play either Wallkill or Roosevelt at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the MHAL semifinals.
Roosevelt 4, Marlboro 1 — Jair Cruz scored twice while Ethan Hart scored once and added an assist for the visiting Presidents late Thursday. Bethuel Yebouet also scored a goal while Markese Shelby and Brandon Gracias made assists. Ryan Diehl made six saves.
Jason Bruno scored Marlboro’s lone goal.
The Presidents (9-5) will face Wallkill in a one-game playoff, though the date, time and location have yet to be determined.
“It’s looking like Saturday at Highland,” Roosevelt coach Brandon Opitz said.
Walter Panas 2, Our Lady of Lourdes 1 — Anthony Quatrochi scored in the 13th minute off a feed from Tony Kung, but the Warriors lost in double overtime to the visiting Panthers late Thursday.
