St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) moved into the No. 2 spot in the Super 25 football rankings with an impressive 63-10 defeat of Bishop Amat (La Puente) in a Pac-5 semifinal Friday as quarterback Quentin Davis threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns and ran for a touchdown. The Braves, who had been No. 3, get a big test this week as they play No. 9 Centennial (Corona) in the Pac-5 championship.

Previous No. 2 Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.), slipped to No. 3 as the Packers needed five interceptions to come from behind and defeat South Forsyth (Cumming) 49-31 in a AAAAAA quarterfinal on Friday.

There is one new team in the top 10. Male (Louisville), led by two touchdowns from running back Dayveon Higgs, won 50-0 on Friday at Central Hardin (Cecilia) in a 6A semifinal and moved up from No. 12 to No. 10.

There are four new teams in the Super 25, led by Indiana 6A champion Center Grove (Greenwood), which is No. 22 after Titus McCoy ran for 193 yards and three touchdowns in a 28-16 of Penn (Mishawaka) for the state championship.

The other new teams: No. 23 Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, Wash.); No. 24 Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia); and No. 25 Spartanburg, S.C.
