Five-star defensive end Nick Bosa has verbally committed to Ohio State, he announced on Twitter Thursday morning. 247 Sports first reported the commitment.
Bosa, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound strong-side defensive end, is the best at his position in the country per 247 and the No. 8 player in the Class of 2016. Though he likely won’t play with his older brother Joey at OSU – he’s projected as a top pick in the 2016 NFL Draft – the Buckeye tradition continues in the Bosa family.
The St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) product chose Urban Meyer’s team over offers from Florida State, Alabama and Clemson, among many others. He becomes the defending national champions’ 18th commit in the class and third defensive end.
