USA TODAY High School Sports will reveal the preseason Super 25 football rankings as part of “Super 25 in 25,” with one team revealed each hour beginning Monday at 8 a.m. ET and continuing through Tuesday.

No. 19: ST. EDWARD

The Eagles won the Division I state title but have a new coach with Tom Lombardo replacing Rich Finotti, who became the director of football operations at Michigan. Lombardo returns to St. Edward after stints as a head coach at Lake Catholic (Mentor) and Highland (Granger Township). He had served as an assistant coach at the school from 2002 to 2006 under his father-in-law John Gibbons.
Top returnees include Indiana commit RB Cole Gest (1,854 yards, 25 TDs), CB Tony Butler, TE-DE Mike O’Malley and OL Mike Tomshack. QB James Keefe, who was a backup last season, will have the benefit of an experienced offensive line to learn behind.
The schedule is one of the toughest in the country, beginning with a game at Gilman (Baltimore) on Aug. 29 and including these toughs: Elder (Cincinnati); St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.); Cocoa, Fla.; Mainland (Daytona Beach) and Moeller (Cincinnati).
